Doctoral Students

At present, seven doctoral students are doing research on some contested and under-theorized topics in the social sciences. They are trained by national and international research scholars. The students are also trained in the use of English as an academic language, the latest IT, and other research skills.

Our students have initiated a ‘students-only’ discussion group on the campus called ‘Bayalu’, which also has its own webpage: http://baylu.blogspot.com. They have published several articles in Kannada in some of the well-known magazines and newspapers in Karnataka, which can also be seen on their website. These are unique initiatives on the campus.
